Recap and Photos from the Colorado 3rd Rifle Season
Our 3rd Rifle season was a doozy. The plateau got between 12 and 18-inches of snow coupled with big winds and cold temps.
But our hunters didn’t flinch and neither did our guides…
First time elk hunter Dan notched his tag on this bull amid tough conditions. Getting the bull out got a little western. But outside of a busted tow strap and tow chain, everyone and everything came out fine.
This was also the hunt that we donated to Backcountry Hunters and Anglers and we couldn’t have had a more awesome father/daughter combo than Michael and Mady Braught. They were simply wonderful folks to guide and spend time with chasing elk.
After the 3rd rifle season, it was time to close up shop in the high country and turn our focus to late season hunts. To learn more about the late season hunts, check out our TimberToTableGuideService.com website.
